A hurricane has hit the United States! 7 people died
At least 7 people have been reported killed in flash floods caused by Hurricane Eta that hit the U.S. state of North Carolina.
Flash floods in different parts of the State, 2 people were also searched as missing, 5 regions declared an emergency.
At least 4 bridges and 50 highways were flooded in the Alexander and Piedmont regions due to heavy rains, local officials said in American press statements.
Hurricane Eta, which hit Central American countries earlier in the week, killed 150 people in Guatemala, one of the countries where it was most effective, while thousands were stranded and tens of thousands evacuated in many countries in the region.
Hurricane Eta reached the U.S. territory yesterday morning 80 kilometers from Florida's Cedar Key region, then followed the state's northeast coastline and headed toward Central America.
