Covid-19 restrictions increased in Italy
Measures taken against the outbreak of the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) in Italy have been increased. According to the new measures, a curfew has been imposed throughout the country from November 5th between 22.00 and 05.00 local time. Regions were divided into 3 in red, orange and yellow according to virus transmission coefficients, while a full curfew was decided in red areas.
The Italian government has imposed new restrictions because of the number of cases that continue to rise sharply in the outbreak of the new type of corona virus ( Covid-19). According to a circular signed by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the night curfew, which is applied only regionally, has spread throughout the country.
Accordingly, a curfew was imposed throughout the country between 22.00 and 05.00 local time. The restrictions were announced to be in effect from November 5 and will remain in force until December 3.
According to the circular, regions in the country were divided into 3 red, orange and yellow according to virus transmission coefficients. According to this, the regions where the cases are most intense will be identified with red and the least with yellow. A full curfew will be imposed in red areas.
Museums will be closed under national restrictions, and face-to-face education will be decommissioned in high schools and equivalent schools. Commercial businesses will remain closed on weekends and holidays, with the exception of shops selling basic necessities. In public transport, capacity will be limited to 50 percent. Restaurants and cafes will close at 18: 00. It will only serve homes.
Day and night curfews will be imposed in red areas
The cities with the highest contagion coefficient will be determined after the release of data for the last 24 hours. It is certain that the Lombardy and Piemonte regions, which are leading the Covid-19 cases, will enter this coverage.
Those who live in red areas will not be able to leave the house except for mandatory conditions such as work and health. As with the quarantine imposed in the first wave of the outbreak, it will only be possible to shop for groceries and go outside in mandatory cases with an excuse document.
Businesses will remain closed, except for shops selling basic necessities. Restaurants can only serve homes. Sports are allowed outdoors and individually. Face-to-face training will continue in primary and secondary schools. Parents will be able to accompany their children on the road to home and school in mandatory cases.
Except for mandatory conditions, entry and exit to these areas are also prohibited. Changing cities in the area is also prohibited. The red zone status will be reviewed every 15 days.
Only night curfew will be imposed in yellow areas
Corona is free until 22: 00 to set a curfew in the least visible areas of the virus. The curfew will be in effect until 05: 00. Restaurants and cafes can be served until 18: 00. 18.00-22.00 between the hours of the house service will be available. Shopping malls will be closed over the weekend and holidays. The theatre, cinema and museums will remain completely closed for the duration of the restriction.
