Teenager Who Sold Kidney to Buy iPhone Was Bedridden for Life

A teenager living in China has been bedridden for the rest of his life because of a mistake he made years ago. A teenager who sold his kidney to buy an iPhone when he was 17 will be bedridden for life because of an infection he contracted. It is not known how long the teenager has left.

Shangkun, a child of a fairly poor family, wanted to buy an iPhone to show off to his friends. And when his parents said they couldn't afford it, he resorted to another way to get the phone he wanted.     

"I don't need a second kidney, one is enough,"

The 17-year-old decided to sell his kidney, and as a result of his research on the internet, he agreed with someone for his kidney.     

He sold it for $ 3,000 for illegal surgery, 

and the teenager who had an illegal operation to sell his kidney received $ 3,000 in return. But according to Information quoted by Unilad, citing local sources, Shangkun will now be bedridden for the rest of his life.

PROGNOSIS IS UNKNOWN

It is currently unknown how long the teenager, who has to undergo dialysis every day, has left. On the other hand, this incident was reflected in the competent institutions.

300 GRAND IN COMPENSATION

Teams identified the people the teenager contacted and arrested 9 people, including doctors. 5 of the 9 people were tried for direct organ sales, while the court decided to pay Shangkun and his family compensation of $ 300 thousand.
