Elon Musk's bombshell confession: I suggested Apple buy Tesla

Elon Musk, the founder of electric vehicle maker Tesla, said he had previously suggested Apple's chief executive Tim Cook take Tesla but did not even agree to the interview.

"During the most difficult days of the Model 3 Series, I wanted to reach out to Tim Cook and discuss Apple's purchase of Tesla (at 1/10 of its current value)," Musk said via his Twitter account. Tim Cook didn't even agree to the interview," he said.

"I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANTED TO BE TOLD"

Musk's announcement followed news that Apple was planning to produce an autonomous vehicle (iCar). Musk also said he saw information about the features of ICAR, which Apple plans to produce, noting that Tesla already uses "iron-phosphate" in mid-range vehicles, but did not understand what it wanted to say with the "monocell" design. Arguing that this is "electromechanically impossible", Musk said: "they may mean combining cells; they are like our structural battery packs." said.
