Greek Chief of Staff Floros: be vigilant against Turkey

Floros, the chief of the General Staff of Greece, visited military units located on the islands of Donkey and Slurch, near the Didim district of Aydin. Praising the soldiers, Floros explained that he had instructed Turkey to be vigilant.

Konstantinos Floros, the chief of the General Staff of Greece, made a sudden visit to the military units on the islands of Agathonisi and Lemnos, with slurry (Pharmaconisi) 4-6 miles from the Didim district of Aydin.

THE CHIEF OF STAFF HAS ORDERED VIGILANCE

During Wednesday's visit, he visited surveillance towers and military units on the islands. It was announced that senior military officials were present during Floros ' visit. Greeted by Evangelos Kottoros, the mayor of slurry Island, Floros also visited the surveillance outposts located in Psara, Panagia, and Donkey Island (Agathonisi).

THE ARMED FORCES ON THE ISLANDS WILL BE INCREASED IN STRENGTH 

During his visit, Floros reportedly praised the military units for successfully dealing with the ongoing Turkish provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean, and instructed them to be constantly alert and vigilant. Floros said that new military personnel and weapons will be added to the military units on the islands near Turkey, and that troops on the islands will be strengthened.
