LAST MINUTES! Armenia's time is over: Azerbaijan has planted a flag in Lachin!
Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry announced that Azerbaijani army troops entered the Lachin region in accordance with the November 10 Agreement. The Azerbaijani army entered the Lachin region of Nagorno-Karabakh under an agreement brokered by Russia.
After the rescue of 5 urban centers, 4 towns, and 286 villages in the operation launched by the Azerbaijani army on September 27, Armenia accepted defeat and signed an agreement pledging to evacuate the occupied provinces of Agdam, Lachin, and Kelbajar.
"In accordance with the trilateral statement signed by the president of Azerbaijan, the president of Russia, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Azerbaijani army troops entered the Lachin region on December 1," the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said in a statement.
