SpaceX-tested space shuttle explodes during landing
The SN8 prototype of US rocket and space shuttle maker SpaceX's "Starship" shuttle exploded during testing.
SpaceX's test flight at the Boca Chica test site in the state of Texas, the shuttle, which was capable of carrying personnel, exploded for a while.
After the flight, the shuttle went on a vertical descent maneuver and exploded after it made contact with the ground.
Elon Musk, the owner of SpaceX, shared on his Twitter account that the pressure of the fuel transmission tank was low during the combustion on landing, which led to the shuttle's contact with the ground at a higher speed than it should have been.
"We got all the data we needed."Musk congratulated the SpaceX team.
SpaceX plans to use the Starship on its Mars trip.
