Last-minute... Europe is officially closing: one by one it's all explained

As the coronavirus outbreak took its toll, European countries in particular increased their measures... Today Greece, Denmark and Hungary announced tough new measures as bans and restrictions continue in many countries.

In the last days of 2019, the outbreak of the corona virus in China continues to cause fear... in Europe, one of the regions most damaged by the coronavirus outbreak, many countries today announced new measures and restrictions.

The Nordic country Denmark has recently decided to introduce new restrictions and curfews, with the number of cases rising. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that the bans and restrictions, which will continue until January 3, will begin on December 9.

It was decided to close bars, restaurants, museums and cinemas in 38 areas, including the capital Copenhagen. On the other hand, it was decided that high school and university students should also be sent home. According to official data, more than 90 thousand cases have been found in Denmark, while 885 people have died.

BANS IN GREECE TO LAST UNTIL JANUARY

With the rapid increase in cases in our neighbor Greece, some measures have been taken... it has been decided to extend the corona virus measures, which were previously extended twice, until January 7.

Greek government spokesman Stelios Petsas announced that schools, restaurants and courts would be closed by January 7th. The latest ban on the corona virus in the country was extended until December 14. While Petsas said the fight against the epidemic was progressing slowly, he said many restrictions, including a nighttime curfew, would last until next month.

NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATIONS CANCELLED

New measures and restrictions have also been taken in Hungary, the European country where the number of cases has recently increased... Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced that the ban on the corona virus has been extended until January 11th in a video posted on his official Facebook account.

Orban said all bans, including a curfew, had been extended after 19.00 pm. New year's Eve celebrations will also not be held this year, Orban said.
