World Health Organization: expect the third wave in Europe by early 2021

Recently, a statement from the World Health Organization came after increasing cases of coronavirus, especially on the European continent. David Nabarro, a senior figure at the WHO, said he expected the third wave in Europe in early 2021.

1 million 388 thousand people died worldwide due to the Coronavirus outbreak that first occurred in December 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei province of China, and soon affected the whole world, while more than 58 thousand people were caught in the deadly outbreak. As news of the vaccine has continued to come in the last two weeks as part of the fight against Coronavirus, a statement from the World Health Organization has come out, which has worried the international public. 

"GOVERNMENTS ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO BLOCK THE SECOND WAVE," HE SAID

David Nabarro, a senior figure at the World Health Organization, spoke to Solothurner Zeitung, a widely read newspaper in Switzerland. Over the summer period, governments did not take the necessary measures and did nothing to stem the second wave of coronavirus, Nabarro said.  

"WE MAY SEE A THIRD WAVE AT THE BEGINNING OF 2021"

 "Governments did not make the necessary moves to address infrastructure needs in the summer after the first wave," said Nabarro, who is fighting to become secretary-general of the WHO in 2017 but failed to achieve that position. Now we are experiencing the second wave. If governments do not make the necessary arrangements and improvements and take action, we will see the third wave at the beginning of 2021. In Switzerland, the case and death rate can reach a very serious level, " he said.
